Privacy Policy

Peptide Clarity is built for personal education and tracking. This policy explains what the app handles and where that information goes.

Last updated August 11, 2026

1. Who we are

Peptide Clarity is provided by Ethan Acevedo. Questions about this policy can be sent to akaEthanYT@gmail.com.

2. Information the app handles

The app may handle information you choose to enter, including:

  • peptides you track and user-entered product, schedule, route, amount, and reminder details;
  • dose history, check-ins, symptoms, wellness measures, and private notes;
  • optional photos you attach to progress records;
  • optional clinician, pharmacy, and report identity details; and
  • subscription entitlement information supplied by Apple.

You decide whether to enter personal information. Peptide Clarity does not require you to enter a diagnosis or medical record to browse the educational library.

3. Where information is stored

Personal tracking records are stored on your device and, when iCloud is available and enabled, in your private Apple iCloud database so the records can sync across your Apple devices. The developer does not run a separate account database or analytics backend for these records and cannot view your private CloudKit data through an app dashboard.

Photos remain part of your private app record. Generated JSON, CSV, and clinician PDF exports are created only when you request them. After you share or dismiss an export, the app attempts to remove its temporary copy.

4. Apple services and permissions

  • iCloud: used for private record synchronization.
  • Notifications: used only for reminders you enable. Reminder previews are discreet by default.
  • Photos: requested contextually only when you choose to add a photo.
  • Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode: used through Apple's authentication system when App Lock is enabled. The app does not receive or store biometric data.
  • StoreKit: used by Apple to process subscriptions, trials, purchases, and restores.

Your use of iCloud and the App Store is also governed by Apple's terms and privacy practices.

5. Tracking, advertising, and third parties

Peptide Clarity does not sell personal information, run third-party advertising, use cross-app tracking, or include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. The app does not request permission to track you.

6. Your controls

You can edit or delete individual records in the app, export your data in JSON or CSV, create a clinician PDF, and use the Privacy screen to delete all personal app data after an explicit confirmation. When iCloud sync is enabled, deletions can synchronize to your other devices. You can manage permissions in iPhone Settings and manage subscriptions through your Apple Account.

7. Data retention and security

Records remain until you delete them or remove them through Apple's iCloud controls. The app uses Apple platform protections, private CloudKit storage, protected temporary files, and optional device-owner authentication. No security measure can guarantee absolute protection.

8. Children

Peptide Clarity is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information through a developer account or backend. A parent or guardian should supervise any use by a minor.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. The current version and effective date will remain available on this page.
